I know at one of my aunts birthday party a good friends of the family spoke at the party and told all the good and juice stuff that she use to do when she was younger. If you know someone that can tell stuff like that about your parents. I am sorry to hear that your dad isn't doing to good. I know what you mean about your dad being your rock and stuff like that. My dad was my rock. even though he has been gone for 12 yrs now it is still hard i think about him everyday. I know you will have a real good party for your parents and they will be surprise. Good luck in planning it. If you can I would start now buying stuff for the party so that way when it is time for the party it won't cost you so much at once. Love Kimi Keep reminding me. We had a 50th for my folks and I'll try to remember some of the things we did. My father was a stroke victim and was very ill. Mom didn't want us to do anything but we went ahead with it. There were people we didn't invite because Mom said no, too large a crowd and Dad couldn't take it. I have pictures of this man just beaming. He was to exhausted when it was over but I know he wouldn't have missed it. You might want to keep that in mind in case your dad's health is much worse.
