What does everybody think about the " Specific Carbohydrate Diet " that

was created by a PSC mom - there's a list of 'legal' and 'illegal'

foods that my daughter has been trying out as we are early in our

journey, within in first year, so we're experimenting with many

things. The 'illegals' include some of the foods on the good side of

this list.

Also, anybody with Lialda experience that can offer long term usage

information or just in general?

Also, my daughter says that if she's going to get episodes or be

asymptomatic, its in the evening. Does anybody know why this is?

We have so many questions!!! This site is priceless.

I

agree with Arne, except I saw a couple of things on the list I would avoid like

the plague.

Sauerkraut is way to high in sodium,

unless you are in the very early stages, I’d scratch it off the list. Licorice Extract can raise blood

pressure (so avoid if you have varices).

Any Supplement,

should be cleared with your doctor before taking.

I know the list is not conclusive or 100% accurate nor is any info available, but it does give some good info. I guess you take the good with the bad!
