Guest guest
I haven't posted in a while---mostly because I was not officially diagnosed and did not know how to fit in. My GP *thought* I had CFS---well, on August 9th, I went to the Cleveland Clinic and saw a specialist. He confirmed it---I *do* have CFS. After going over my chart and history, he has concluded that the majority of my problems have been from not getting into stage four sleep. He says if I can get there, my memory and cognitive problems will probably improve as will the fatigue. My question is, has anyone ever heard this before? My doctor prescribed Elavil for sleep and headaches but because of another medication I am on, I cannot take it. Thankfully, my pharmacist caught it. I left a message for the doctor and he still has not called back.
