Guest guest Posted March 22, 2005 Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 My wife and I went to see another Dr. today. He said to start the iodine diet now. He would schedule the scan ASAP, as the dose of Cytemel was so low, and being off of it for a week, her TSH was ready now. The other doc was going to have her off Cytemel for 4 more weeks before even checking. I got to see her path report. The cancer was totally inside the tumor, which was totally inside the thyroid, with no detectable spread to the thyroid or blood vassals. Doc said unless there is something hiding somewhere, probably 30 mC would be it. The only bad thing, he will not prescribe Armour. But we can deal with that later.
