Guest guest
Lynn, do you have a source which you would recommend for kefir starter? I have been making yogurt lately, but Ithink I need to switch to kefir then. I imagine my yogurt incubater will be the right temp for the kefir as well, right? Thanks, Inga on 3/26/05 7:47 PM, Lynn McGaha at lmcgaha@... wrote: I think the poor woman's probiotic is kefir. Once you have the " grains " to get started with, the only other expense is the cost of milk. Kefir has a multiplicity of natural probiotics in a much greater complex than what is found in yogurt. Unfortunately what's available commercially is of minimum value, so do-it-yourself incubation is the best way to go. Lynn
