Guest guest Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 A query, just recently I felt as if I haven't enough skin to cover the area between the top finger joints and finger tips - this includes my thumb. I think they are very slightly swollen, visually they don't appear swollen, but when I clench my fingers into a very light fist, (it is impossible to make a tight fist), the skin under my finger nails goes white and the top finger joint also goes white.... (OK I can see you all flexing and unflexing your fists..grin). But the worst part is that the skin where it joins the base of my finger nails is splitting away from the nail, it does heal then splits again. Would this be liver related?
