Guest guest
Tuesday St 's dayWell hello everyone, time for a nice juicy update, and you can all have a good laugh at my (and 's I might add) expense. We were driving to my dr appt this morning, and for the first time in ages, we were going together. was getting a lift in town to save the world and going to bus home. You can tell how long it is since we have caught buses, we didn't even know if they took cash these days! Anyway, happily stuck in traffic, the car started beeping. Low gentle beep that caused us to check our phones first, they were fine. No flashing warning lights coming on, nothing wrong. After a while I pulled over, turned it off, beeping continued, checked the door locks etc, and as everything appeared to be fine continued on our peak hour way getting more stressed each minute. Chippy had no idea what it was (we have the same car), and two hyundai service guys couldn't trouble shoot over the phone so 's theory was to turn the music up louder, do the hospital thing then find a Hyundai dealer to fix it. Coronation drive at 8:30 in the morning......you can imagine. After mopping up the stress tears, thought he had time enough to drop ME at the hospital, he would get the car fixed and take it into work. I would be the bus/taxi person! As I jumped out of the car, the beeping went with me. It was the blasted pump attached to my arm, and had run out of medicine, (that's why I was there to have it refilled), but I didn't know this. We sat in trafiic for an hour swearing at my wonderful car, when it was fine. All the nurses and my dr thought this was hilarious, I was just still mad. Anyway, now we know what it sounds like it probably wont run out again!!!Hope you all have a good St 's day,Lots of love Penny T To send a message to penny and family goto; http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/pennyt
