For me " flares " are when the pain is so bad I have to stay in bed. I haven't

had a pain free day in nine years, so if I can stay in an upright position

all day I'm very happy :) But on the other hand I don't have much of the

fatigue that goes along with fibro.

I have flares quite often and I am never free of pain even when I am not in a

flare. The pain varies but it is seldom pain that I am able to cope with. I

remember having about a week when I was a pain free as I ever get. I tried

some new recipes, did some other things that I has wanted to do and I really

though that I would have some relatively low pain but it got worse again and

I never have been that way again.

Take care,

I would love to be able to take a nap in the middle of the day but when I

wake up I feel horrible.

Me either....my pain isn't even under control right now and never has been

since before they diagnosed me. I really don't call it pain I just call it

the constant aching....because thats what I feel like. I feel like people do

when they have the flu and they have the body aches...thats what my body

feels like......I will even run a low grade fever most of the time too. Do

any of you feel this way?

Audie,

Me too girlfriend...me too....I would rather have the sharp shooting

pains than the constant aching...its just always there..never goes away...no

matter what I do...I can lessen a slight teeny bit, but never gone. I can

understand why that poor lady called Jack Kavorichan somedays let me tell ya.

Allicia, That the way I feel I can't stand the achiness it really gets to me I

can stand the sharp pains better than I can stand the achiness, I am so glad

that someone else understand this pain. That is what I take my pain meds for

they are the only thing that helps. I don't know if I have a fever I have never

checked. Thanks. Audie

My normal temperature is 96.8 to 97.6 so a temperature for me can be 98. If

I have a temp of 99, I am really ill.

Irene,

I am the exact same way...I have a really low " normal " body temp...and boy

when my temp hits the 100 degree mark..I'm deathly ill.
