Guest guest
Lori, Thanks for the information; however, many of the foods on that diet are toxic to me according to the doctors I am seeing. I need to follow a very specific diet that is very low in a specific chemical that is absorbed by the breeaking down of fat in the small intestine. The chemical is only found in grown foods or animal products that eat grown foods. Becaue my liver does not correctly produce bile, I cannot break down fat correctly; therefore, I cannot excrete this chemical, Oxalate, which is posioning my kidneys. My lab work proved this when the normal oxalate level is 42 and mine came in at over 120. The link you sent me allow for berries to be eatten. I cannot eat most berries (cranberries are okay). In 6 months they will re-test my oxalate level and if the diet is working then I will be in good shape. If not they will have to take more drastic action. The problem I am having is common in people with kidney stones, short bowl syndrome, inflamatory bowl disease, and liver disease due to malabsorbtion problems. It can also have genetic causes. Thank you for the information though.
