WOW!

This discussion has really got my brain humming. I have had awful swelling

on and off for about 5 yrs. I finally decided with trial and error that I

did better with MORE salt in my diet. If I swelled really badly I went and

bought a bag of chips and ate the whole thing during the day.

When I mentioned it to my doctor she basically rolled her eyes and told me

to stop eating salt. (I have no blood pressure problem at all just swelling)

I mentioned it to my registered nurse sister-in-law and got the same

response.

I have searched the internet looking for ANY information that might lead

this direction and came up with NOTHING. Salt Deprivation, low salt diet.

Anything I could think of.

So today! Someone mentions Aldosterone Deficiency. I have not spent a lot of

time looking into this yet but. It is an Adrenal problem!!??

Seems like a bit of a coincidence to me! Here I am thinking adrenals may be

a big part of my problem. Anyone know more about this?
