THANK GOD FOR MY PHARMACIST !

Greetings my Fellow Lupies,

Well, Maggie the Nurse has got my ' Pharmacist ' super pissed now. When I called the Pharmacy first thing this morning, they had finally okayed the prescriptions for my Prednisone, and Carb/Levo for my Restless Legs, and she had them ready for me.

But she said that she can't get through to the nurse either....just her voice mail. She left a message for her to call the Pharmacy, as soon as she got the message. She said she still has not heard anything from them about the Preauthorization for the Soma.......

So she said, "I have been faxing the information they need to get it done every hour on the hour.....and will continue to do so untill I get an answer !....She went on to say, " I can't do MY job, if they won't do theirs ......and that makes me angry, she said that She had three other patients in the same situations.....And that she is also faxing their paperwork every hour on the hour till she gets an answer!".......She said It is easy for me to put the paperwork in the fax Machine and Push that button to Send....much easier than for you to sit and wait, and call back, then sit and wait again !"

So now that I know I have an 'Ally 'at the Pharmacy, I was able to relax and actually get some rest today! I let her know how much I appreciated her help, and she was really grateful for the acknowledgement , and said," People like that just Makes me SO Angry....Don't you worry Ms. Carey.......when their floor starts piling up with paperwork I have faxed over there ..., they will have to give me an answer eventually ! .....One way or the Other, If they will just do their job !"

Then I went out to get in the car to go pick up the Scripts that she had ready, and MY Car is Deader than a Doornail......Evidently the battery.....not a noise....nothing , nada.....not even enough power to lock the doors.

Luckily, I was able to call my Daughter on her Cell phone, and she was near my place, so she swung by the Pharmacy and picked up my scripts for me, and told me to call Bill, her husband. I did and was able to get him on his cell phone, and he is coming over after he gets off work, to check out the Battery, and the Alternator to see what is wrong.

Luckily I am 'SUPER ANAL' about saving receipts for every thing, so I found the receipt and warranty for the Battery my son just bought for me just over a year ago.......So if it is the Battery we can get one at a pro-rated cost.
