For example could it be stressing my adrenals since it is new to my system?<< Not likely! DHEA is an adrenal hormone so it in no way should be stressing your adrenals. I take a huge dose of it and have been taking it for 6 years as when ever I stop I feel the drop in energy. Maybe in some people it converts to estrogen and that binds their circulating thyroid hormone.That would make a person tired!! LOL I am not sure what it does convert to in me but the only bad side effect I have ever had from it was breaking out on my head, usually my hair line.
