Not likely! DHEA is an adrenal hormone so it in no way should be stressing your

adrenals. I take a huge dose of it and have been taking it for 6 years as when

ever I stop I feel the drop in energy. If you feel no extra energy from it

IMMEDIATELY, you may not need it as I do.

Hi ,

So..you felt effects immediately! I thought it would take at least 2 weeks.

Maybe in some people it converts to estrogen and that binds their

circulating thyroid hormone.That would make a person tired!!

You are right, I didn't even think of that I guess because it obviously doesn't

do that IN me! LOL I am not sure what it does convert to in me but the only bad

side effect I have ever had from it was breaking out on my head, usually my hair

line. But changed brands and that seems to have stopped.
