Guest guest
Folks, Please find attached a call for "Master Trainers" to take part in a pilot program being conducted by EPA to develop trainers for agricultural workers under the Worker Protection Standard. Individuals will be selected and trained to instruct others using a preset curriculum. Those instructed will then educate workers. The pilot is being conducted in three states: Florida, New Jersey and Washington; and, if proven effect, may have the potential for national adoption. This pilot is one of the results of the series of meetings EPA has been conducting the past year or so to assess the status of the Worker Protection Standard. Those interested in participating as Master Trainers can choose to participate in one, two or all three of the pilot states. The attached announcements are in both English and Spanish as we are looking for a variety of individuals to make sure the curriculum and program that have been designed are effective for a maximum number of people. If you have any difficulty viewing these announcements, please let me know and I will transmit them through another means. Please help us find good people to fill these slots. The deadline for application is Dec. 2, 2002. Thanks. Alice Alice C. Larson, Ph.D.Larson Assistance Serviceslas@...206.463.9000 (voice)206.463.9400 (fax)P.O.
