IF YOU LIVED NEAR ICOULD RECOMMEND GOOD DOCTORS

I was just wondering if you lived near me and have any insurance other than Secure Horizons I could recommend a good place to go for Doctors that would give you Pain Medications. I used to use the Osteopathic Medical Center in Fort Worth, but then they dropped my Insurance co.

By the way I live in Arlington, not Fort Worth, Arlington is between Dallas and Ft. Worth.

It really bothers me that you can't get a doctor to prescribe pain medication for you.

Have you called your insurance co. to ask for a different Doctor? I just changed my PCP because my doctor's nurse took so long to call in Prescriptions for me. I have not seen my new PCP yet, I have an appt. with him on Sept.7th......however I am confident that he will prescribe what I need because he is a D.O.......they always seem to have a better way of Doctoring than the M.D. doctors.....all my doctors used to be Doctors of Osteopathy

I told you about the breakdown at work. what i didnt say is they but me in a hospital for alcoholics. they thought i was addicted to something well as confused as i was i was willing to fess up to being addicted to fleet. oh man did those drunks look at each other funny i can laugh now but before 10 years ago i was crying. anyway now i need a pain management doc and my psych is saying they are pill pushers well yeah thats pretty much what i need no vicodin it wont work ,he is still treating me like an addict.problem wasnt addiction to begin with problem was i was sick with lupus and nobody knew it.i am getting thru the pain with sleep 1 hr at a time day in day out. i am not sure but i think he treats mostly addicts. mine is major depression guess i will go in there next month and explain to him me all over again and lupus all over again . gee i really hope i get the test results today;. i just want to breathe without feeling like i have a ton of bricks on my chest it hurts. i cant sleep more than a hour without waking up.lilupielu"The LUPIES Store" Come check out our store...http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies"The LUPIES Web Page"http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html"The LUPIES online photo albums!" I tell ya that was just the psychiatrist against pAIN meds and he was the guy that got me out on disability . you know its hard sometimes to remember i am on ss and theres no changing it now . they wont take it away. its just that it was so tramatic trying to get it im so afraid if i dont do exactly as he says i wont have anything to live on. its terrible to realize we are so close to the line.things have never been this bad .financially or health. my rheumys nurse called just now said no getting off steroids , they have some of the tests back but refused to give me any numbers that is not like her there must be something there i guess-------- good im tired of feeling bad and every dr saying no prob you have lupus go home sorry bout the pity party im gonna go cry now see ya later frances-----------i am ok just frustrated Carey wrote:
