Guest guest
Here are the questions I was sent: Age range: 41 Male/female: Female What are the symptoms? FMS Trigger points, tender points, chronic fatigue, sinus problems, speech problems, aphasia at times, balance difficulties, lack of REM sleep, depression and on and on...unfortunately and I won't bore you. Has you illness been diagnosed? JUST in the process of it now, after 12 years of being dismissed as having depression and being repeatedly put on antidepressants. I had a brush with death with the last one recently and the doctor finally said the " fibromyalgia " word and she was right on. How long did you suffer before you got help? I am quite certain I have had FMS since childhood. Is there a time that you can remember when it started? I don't remember being without it. Some of us have found lack of exercise we are overweight. Have you found this to be a problem also? I am a vegetarian, near vegan. I don't have a weight problem anymore, but I once did. I have also battled eating disorders most of my life, but I think those are in remission for about three to four years. Are you on disability? No, still working, although it is getting harder. I bought a new book I will share with the list. I can see where this is going to transform my life, the info in that book. It has made a difference in just 24 hours! If you are any pointers for others trying to get on disability? Only using service like Binder and Binder to help you get it. What have you found that helps ease the pain, warm baths, medications etc.? Ultracet is good, but I am not given nearly enough of it. I take Tylenol PM on the weekends now to get two nights of deep, deep DREAMY sleep and I am feeling a little better. Bextra is good, so is Vioxx. I have a new book I will talk about on the list later that is EXCELLENT. Do you have sleep problems? How do you deal with it? I do, mega problems. I am just learning this is a problem and how to do anything for it. Do you have family that understands your illness? I am working on it. Some have found certain foods causes problems with CFS or Fibro, have you? I am off of all nightshade veggies as a candida cure. This is no tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, eggplant, no fruits, no potatoes. No, I have no idea what I will eat! I don't eat meat, any dairy, no cheese, no eggs and now most of what is left is gone. This is only temporary with the nightshade family, but I will have to be careful in the future too. I think working my abdominal trigger points will mean and end to stomach problems. What type of Doctor have you found that has helped you the most? A wonderful naturopath that I have found who is helping incredibly. She is gentle, understanding and KIND. I really like her. Plus, I can afford her! I have no medical insurance and since the doctor is double the fees for no where near the help, you can see where I am going with this. My friends all call me Dragonfly or D'fly. I hope you will too. The Lady Dragonfly www.theladydragonfly.com
