Guest guest
I have Lupus seizures A LOT (about 3 times a week now)...they did get down to 1 every few weeks. I have been tested for narcolepsy and epilepsy and both were negative. I found out later that Lupus seizures will not register on any known test so far. I don't know if anyone else are having these...the last one was BAD...the EMT/Paramedics couldn't find my heartbeat/pulse/blood pressure...I was pale white and my lips were blue and I was unresponsive. The ER didn't know what to do for me. EVERYTIME this happens they instantly think I overdosed on my meds. I keep arguing (once I come out of the unresponsiveness) and they don't really know what to do. Has anyone successfully been treated for these " seizures? " I need help. Blessings, In California > Thanks, Cheryl, for your input, and Becky too. > I'm sorry you have seizures, Cheryl. > > Since I was diagnosed last year with fibromyalgia I validated a lot with people with fibromyalgia. Like with lupus, people with fibromyalgia can have it in a mild form or severe form. > This applies also for the brain fog. Latest researches show there might be a connection between fibromyalgia and the central nerve system. > Whatever causes my brain fog, I have it badly. I keep a notebook and write everything down. I have often forgotten I have made notes. At least I don't forget all. I can't read books for this. At the end of page one I have forgotten the first lines. The list of things that happen are numerous. When people talk to fast, I have a hard time to understand them. > Anyway, it's annoying sometimes especially when it involves other people. Yet I laugh about the most of my mistakes. > I too have black-outs and they got more severe during my latest flare. > > micha. > > > > brain fog > > > >>>>>>>>>>Micha said: Is there a difference for you between the lupus fog and the fibro fog? > > > > Don't know but there surely degrees of the fog thing. I have heard and seen lupus folks with total black outs. I had a few seizures myself and some have them all the time. I haven't heard that fibro caused the fog thing until I got a computer and started on line. I was under the impression that fibro didn't mess with your head a lot.
