Guest guest
, How do you know when you are in remission? Since we are now thinking that I had a flare back in November how would I knwo if I were in remission? Thinking back to the last few months there have been days when my hands hurt sometimes to the point I couldn't function normally but it lasted 2-3 days and then would pass. When it started it would start with one finger and over the course of a day it would spread. When it was gone it wasn't gradual like the onset it was very quick. Often when I would wake up in the morning I would realize the pain was gone. Sorry to sound stupid but it's all so confusing! Thanks! Guest guest
Nikki, Usually you can tell when you're in remission when you're not experiencing any symptoms. The fever is gone ... appetite comes back. Even though I was in remission for nearly ten years ... there would be times when I would break out in these rashes but they wouldn't be as bad as when I'm flaring. The arthritis stays unfortunately with me. It's just not as bad as it is when I'm flaring. I also don't wake up exhaustified. Not exhausted, but exhaustified! Taking fatigue to a new level. So I guess I can't really say that it's when you have NO symptoms .... I imagine that this varies from person to person also. I'm actually surprised that you're asking MOI a question, because I'm known as the Doofus around here but ask away. Ha. -. Re: Flare??- > , > > How do you know when you are in remission?
