I have had kidney problems for long stretches at a time and my Lupus meds usually stops the pain. I hurts in your lower back and to the side a little. I have also had problems going to the bathroom also. I usually drink A LOT of cranberry juice (which is also great for bladder infections), go to my doctor, have more tests ran, and wait to see what the test results are.
