Guest guest
Hmm, thanks for this. I had been taking Selenium for several months prior to my antibody test. 200mcg .I wonder if it would have been higher if I hadn't. I actually had forgotten why I was taking it. I stopped almost everything to give me a chance to really see the effects of Armour. I have such a strong feeling that Armour is the right direction for me. Kate Re: Thyroid antibodies....I have Hashimoto's. My antibodies There has been some studies in which selenium has lowered antibodies. You can get selenium naturally from Brazil nuts. http://static.highbeam.com/o/obgynnews/october152001/seleniumeasesthyroiditisnut\ rition/ Kerry
Guest guest
One of the things that was just discovered in the last year concerning selenium and thyroid is that there are transporter proteins that sit on the membrane of the cell that actually take thyroid hormone into the nucleus of the cell. almost all of them are selenium based proteins. There is actually a theory that it helps deionize T4 into T3 also. > > Hmm, thanks for this.
