Guest guest
Hi everyone, Until I saw this list I thought I was the only one to have burning feet, sore shoulder girdles and the rest. I am also diagnosed with RSD and that overlays the FMS and makes the pain I am in unbearable some days. I went to a keep fit class for senior citizens but it affected the RSD too much and I had to drop out. I was the youngest there by a good 20 years!!!! I too have wondered about the connection between FMS and MS and I guess that it must be different parts of the nerve fibre that are affected. The pain that some MS patients suffer from is RSD pain according to something I read somewhere. There is only one way to deal with pain, even when it seems to get worse and that is to have a sense of humour. I used to say why me but then if not me then who else? I try to have a laugh with family and the kids who come to me for piano lessons. They are a great source of fun and enjoyment and if not for them I think I would be really miserable. Other things that affect both conditions are -too hot, - toocold, - too windy, - too sunny, -too overcast, - too tired, - too much to do, - too little money or I would take a holiday, - too anything in fact! A life of moderation and quiet is the way to go which is a shame as I used to enjoy going out and I find that I prefer to stay in these days. Sorry to ramble on so. Thanks to the people who suggested what might be causing my sore mouth. I
