Guest guest
Hurrah, Tom came home today! We have had a big day of all the activity that goes with being released from the hospital, visits from the Whites and Rick Jackomis, and training on administering the TPN at home. Once again, I feel like I should go to nursing school now that I've learned to do all these things. The stitches they put around Tom's drains seem to be working, but he's having a bit of pain from them. That should go away in a couple of days. He's going to be much more mobile with his home IV because they put it in a backpack for him. Kinda cool. He's pretty worn out right now, but he's still feeling good. Hopefully this will be a big turning point in his recovery. We're just happy to have him back in our little nest in Sterling.Kathy To send a message to Tom, Kathy and family goto; http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/thomasbutler
