Guest guest
The bowel cleanse I used was psyllium hulls from NSP that taste awful because of what they have in them. My favorite now is a Dr. Gray's formula, Holistic Horizons is the brand name, that I purchased off from JayRobb's site. It has Calcium Pantothenate, Cloves and Dandelion Root added. http://www.jayrobb.com Jay has really good protein powder. When I did the first bowel cleanse I didn't eat solid food for like 7 days, but then my Iridologist changed her methods and said to just add psyllium powder to your daily schedule. It is very necessary to drink lots of water when taking psyllium. But also be aware of any symptoms that might indicate that you cannot tolerate it. Like major cramping. Or muscle test before taking anything. http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/default.asp lists a many cleanses, but some I would stay away from for sure, as I believe you need to soften the stones so they will pass properly. Hulda 's recipe, the first one listed is the next cleanse I plan on using. I didn't experience any pain at all when I did the apple juice, lemon juice, and olive oil cleanse that you can read about below and at the URL provided. The following is like the one I used. I have added to it to let you know of the differences. I only did the cleanse for one day at a time, and it was amazing how well it worked. If you have low blood sugar NSP has a herbal combination called Fasting Plus that will keep your blood sugar stable. I have been trying to find my records, but in the move I have put them where? So I could tell you how many I took or what the rule of thumb was for taking Fasting Plus while cleansing. I do remember that if I started to get shaky or a headache that I would take a Fasting Plus. There must be other companies out there that have something that would help keep blood sugar stable. Here is the URL where I found the cleanse. There is a lot of good information on the site as well as the curezone site .. http://www.mkprojects.com/fa_Cleanses_for_EnhancedVitality.htm Cleanse for the Gallbladder and Liver First Day – drink the following: 8AM 8 oz apple juice 10AM 16 oz apple juice 12PM 16 oz apple juice 2PM 16 oz apple juice 4PM 16 oz apple juice 6PM 16 oz apple juice Use only natural unfiltered apple juice (Sheila - I used bottled pure apple juice, no added sugar) no chemicals or sweeteners, preferably made fresh from organic apples. This is important since it’s the malic acid that softens the stones in the gallbladder. NO FOOD WHATSOEVER (Sheila - you can end this after the first day but if you can hack it do it the two days.) Second Day: Repeat the juice routine of the first day. No food whatsoever all day. * At bedtime, drink down at once, 4 oz olive oil. Instead of just the olive oil, please read the next paragraph and use the directions there. (Note from Sheila: Whether you end the fast in one day or two . . . I would suggest that you take the juice of three freshly squeezed lemons and divide it in half. Then you take 4 oz olive oil and mix it with half of the lemon juice. Drink this one half hour before going to bed. At bedtime, drink down another 4 oz olive oil mixed with the remainder of the lemon juice. Lay on your right side for a minimum of two hours without getting up. To get the liver with this concoction you might want to stay on your back for two hours. Have something like orange juice beside your bed to drink for when you do get up, in case your blood sugar is low.) Between 4 AM and sometime in the morning you will have a major bowel movement. (Sheila - and you just may sleep through the night to get up at your regular time.) In the fecal matter you will find small green pebbles, the size of a pinhead or as big as a bird egg. These are what are left of your gallstones. Or you may just get green feces. Many times it all looks like green mud. Old stagnant bile becomes dissolved and liquefied through the malic acid of the apple juice. The oil moves the entire mess. It is possible that if there is enough colon congestion, the waste from the gallbladder will be stored in the colon, and not expelled for a few days. If you did not expel any stones after the first two days on this cleanse, wait a week or two, and then do this cleanse again. This cleanse was developed in Austria and is today used in many health spas in Europe. It frees the liver/ gallbladder tract of old bile and debris, which we call stones. The following recipe was attached to the above so I am including it. Liver and Gallbladder Cleanse - Prepare and mix together: 2 oz.juice of raw beets and greens of beets 3 quarts water 2 cups fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons raw honey - Make fresh unfiltered apple juice from organic apples or use purchased unfiltered organic apple juice. - For 2 days, and if possible 3 days, drink the following: 7AM 2 glasses apple juice 9AM 2 glasses beet/ lemon juice 11AM 2 glasses apple juice 1PM 2 glasses beet/ lemon juice 3PM 2 glasses apple juice 5PM 2 glasses beet/ lemon juice 7PM 2 glasses apple juice 9PM 2 glasses beet/ lemon juice Between 4 AM and sometime in the morning you will have a major bowel movement. So there are some suggestions that might help your thyroid medication to work with less problems and to work faster.
