My husband - 's father - had a colonoscopy back in 2002, after his mom was dx'd with colon cancer. We were told at the time that all was normal.

We were just at the clinic this morning for a new problem he's been having, and were told by the doc that the biopsies from the scope actually showed crohn's and showed colitis! And said something today about thinking he has rectal crohn's.

1. I'm p*ssed that we weren't told about this at the time. (Of course, it was the same doctor who told me I'd never get pregnant. I've gone on to give birth to two beautiful children!)

2. This means our PSC child DOES have a relative with one of these yuckies.

3. Refer back to #1 - LoL.

He's scheduled for another scope mid-February to give time for his current issue to resolve itself to some degree. THIS time I'm asking for a copy of the report AND the biopsy report. (Prior to getting sick, I hadn't thought of doing that, which is why we didn't know about this sooner.)

Is there anything else we should ask about doing or checking? I read something about labs to check RBC, WBC, mineral levels, and some other things. Anything else you intestinal pros would recommend?

Thanks as always, guys!!!
