Hi Darcy,

I'm all for a warm fuzzy. This is sort of fibro related. I have a

three year old daughter and five year old son. I was at the pharmacy

picking up yet another prescription, with both of my kids in tow.

Sometimes I beat myself up for not being a better mother or a more

patient mother, but when you are hurting, it is so hard to keep your

fuse long, rather than short!

Anyway, I was constantly on my kids, " sit up " , " keep your hands to

yourself " , " please talk with inside voices " , yadda, yadda, yadda.

Sometimes I feel like I'm too strict with them, but I want them to be

respectful of other people, especially in a medical building where

most people are, cuz they don't feel good!

A woman and her grandmother were in the same pharmacy. When we left

the building, they were outside and stopped me. They both told me

that my children were very beautiful, well-behaved and respectful.

That made me feel so good! I think I floated away six inches above

ground. For all the bad feelings, frustrations or pain that I had on

that day, I was given a sense that, it's gonna be alright!

How about this for a more pleasant post? What's the *best* remark

anyone eversaid to you about having fibro, something that made you

feel good inside?

> Mine was yesterday, it was dh birthday, and it had crept up on me

once again, so I didn't realize it until halfway through yesterday. I

called him to apologize and wish him a Happy Birthday. Not only was

he not upset at me, he said to me, " I know you have a hard time just

making it through daily living sometimes. " and I do. I was really

happy that his feelings weren't hurt and he recognized how hard things

can be for me at times. Anyone else have a good story to tell?
