Guest guest
Hey Eileen, That I can remember I never did an iodine test on . As I have mentioned before I just used muscle testing to see if iodine would be beneficial. The Iodine I had on hand was Naka and so used that for testing him and then tested him for the amount he needed to take. Most of the time 10 drops is what he would take and it would calm him. But also there were times when he didn't need to take any. Okay I have a question for you . . . Please give me a detailed description of your sons eyes. I am not so interested in the sclera, the white part, but I am interested in the iris, the color, and the shape of the nerve endings. That is those fine lines you see radiating out from the pupil. Are they even, or do they look like a crocheted doily? Can you even see them? Does he have any unusual spots on his iris? Are his pupils shaped like you would expect them to be? Does he have a white rim around his iris, at the top like a little cap, or at the bottom, or all the way around? I have a great nephew that is autistic, and I am have a theory that you can help me research with what you tell me. Once I get your answers if I don't have further questions I might have a theory, and suggestion. Sheila *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** Hi Sheila: It was my son too that was helped by the iodine stain test. Something I had never expected to see while doing the stain test. Ever since, I have been trying to get my act together to get him on the right track. I have so many things going on with him right now and I am starting to realize that with Autism anyway everything has to be done in an order otherwise negative reactions happen. At least that is what I have seen with my son. So with that said, I am researching while waiting for test results to come back from a Clinic we took him to for heavy duty tests in regards to his condition of Autism. Seems if I start too many things at once then one thing effects another because he may have this or he may have that. My son seems to fit into just about every category I read on, so I have to attack one thing at a time. His meltdowns are pretty bad so I am trying to avoid these as much as possible. Altho it is so tempting to jump right in as I feel I have lost so much time with him biomedically as it is. I have calls into some other doctors and have not heard back from them yet, to make an appt to check his Thyroid, Adrenals, etc. Also the Clinic we took him to had done some Thyroid tests I asked for and I have not gotten any results back yet. OK I rambled enough. Eileen > Eileen, > > Have you been able get a thyroid antibody panel done on , yet?
