What can you tell me about intravascular liver biopsies?

I am know as the Queen of research. I like to be informed. However I have not

been able to find much of anything about this type of biopsy other than it is

through the hepatic vein. is having one tomorrow, assuming his INR is

better. The last time he had a liver biopsy, they did the standard one through

his side. Apparently this kind is less painful. I just wanna know what they're

gonna do to him. He, however has NO interest in knowing. He'll be happily in a

drug induced la la land. :)
