I'm on Remeron, but a) it's for depression, it did make me gain 10-15 pounds so I'm not sure that's what you really want either. > Could someone with this problem let me know the symptoms of irritable >bladder. Feeling like you have to go a lot, pain or burning when you go, a tendency of certain foods to make these problems worse. Darcy
Guest guest
Vicki, As far as using another anti-depressant, I suggest Zoloft. When I was using this drug, it did help me sleep and deal with the pain in more positive way AND it make me lose weight rather than gain. Many of the medications are a catch 22. There some benefits and some drawbacks to all drugs. It mostly depends on the patients chemistry profile. I wish you luck and better days ahead. Jim " Someday I will fly away and leave all of this to yesterday " Hi.......Im a newbie I just joined this group yesterday and already cant believe how many of you are suffering from the same symptoms as I am I was diagnosed with Fibro. and CFS about 5 years ago. The only thing my doctor has been willing to give me is Elavil (antidepressant) before bed. It does help me sleep, but one of the side effects is increased appetite and Im already a large person, so this isnt working well for me. What other antidepressants are prescribed for this condition. I really dont take anything for pain except advil. One person mentioned irritable bladder........I have irritable bowel syndrome, and lately have noticed discomfort in the bladder. Tests always show no infection. Could someone with this problem let me know the symptoms of irritable bladder. I have a feeling this group is going to be a big help to me and I thank you all for this. Vicki W.
