Hi everybody! I haven't posted or even had to read posts for about a

month now. I must have missed a few thousand posts. LOL My DD and her

baby have moved in with us and lots of other things have been going

on. Life here has been (and will remain) crazy!!

Wanted to let ya know that I went to doc yesterday because I was out

of meds and she wanted to re-test before I got more. She had me on 2

1/4 grains Armour. I told her I had raised (gradually) to 3 grains.

She was like " ok " . Then I told her that I wanted her to test FT3.

She thought she had been, but then I explained that she hadn't

according to the labs. She went and checked and said " You're right.

Do you want me to check anything else? " I told her I was really only

interested in Free T 3 and Free T4. She asked if I wanted TSH. I told

her no because I understand it is useless once treatment has begun.

She said " And that way we won't have to worry about what to do if it

comes back too low. " I said, " Right and I don't want you to decrease

my meds. " So she only checked what I asked for. I get results back

in a few days.

I thought this was so cool!! She really is willing to work with me

and learn! She even wrote my 3 grain script in 2 and 1 so I could

split my dose for morning and afternoon. (without me even asking)

BTW, since being on 3 I have felt so much better even with all the

extra stress that I have been under.

I hope everyone is doing good or getting better. Hopefully I can get

back to you guys soon and read some of the MANY posts I've missed.

Has there been any hot topics of discussion I should know about??

Take Care!! Kris
