Guest guest
Sorry, this is a bit off-topic but I didn't know who else to ask. My son is having a die-off reaction to yeast and I would like to give him Alka-Seltzer Gold but I can't find it (we live in Ontario, Canada). Can anyone tell me what is in it so that I can look for an equivalent? I found a product called BromoSeltzer which has 3.683 gm of sodium bicarbonate and 2.667 gm of citric acid per packet. This looks to me roughly like what you would have left if you took the ASA out of regular Alka-Seltzer, but I wasn't sure if the Gold was different. Also, what would be the dose for a 40lb 2 year old? And when do you give it? Thanks for any help. Anne in Ontario, Canada
