Plain Talk: Whats the big deal? Oak Ridge is a government facility

that poisoned its communities and workers with fluorides.

Specifically, huge amounts of extremely toxic hydrogen fluoride and

calcium-fluoride, which cause immune cell damage, higher retention of

toxic metals, thyroid damage, and cancer. A very similar process

involving fluorides from nerve gas decomposition and heavy metals is

the prime toxic driver in the Gulf War illnesses. The fluorides and

toxic metals damage the mitochondria DNA of immune cells as they

biocentrate into the lymph system and the nervous system.

The " mysterious diseases " linked to fluoride/metal toxic effects are

part of the military / industrial network cover up of the toxic

problems. Fluorides produce an insoluble precipitate of calcium

fluoride in the stationary macrophages of the lymph nodes that

accumulate because fluorine's electronegativity exceeds oxygen and

fluoride calcium seeks. Toxic metals produce insoluble metal oxides

in the lymph nodes. This also sets off local Th1 / TNFa cytokine

response from the secretory macrophage cells that cause apoptosis in

the lymph cells and cytokine signaling confusion in lymph channels.

The Th1 in the lymph system is offset by a general Th2 cytokine

response for the total body, which enables cancers and virals. The

general effect is seen with CFS, MCS, HIV, and environmental diseases

of GWI and gas diffusion plant workers. These effects are aggrivated

by poor American diets, fluoride in water, pesticides, preservatives,

and etc. This effect was discovered by ORNL Sr. Staff person J. E.

Phelps in 1986-87 as it applied to gas diffusion HF loses. The high

levels of lymph node toxic stress (fluorides, isotopes, metals) cause

superoxides, NO, etc. that damage the stationary and mobile

macrophage mitochondria that impair the biological DNA digestion

leading to immune related disease and cancer. The lymph node cells

are the most highly toxically exposed cells in the body and the first

to malfunction. The effect is the root cause of CFS, MCS, and the

mystery ills, all mechanisms well known in the 1980's and suppressed

by Oak Ridge National Lab. Today, the ORNL suppression of this

information and mechanism amounts to a crime against humanity.

Many psychoactive drugs are fluorinated. Two of the most noted are

Rohypnol (the infamous date-rape drug, " Roofies " ) and Prozac.

Rohypnol is fluorinated Valium, which is about 20-30 times more

potent than Valium alone. Essentially, these drugs effect enzyme

functions in certain areas of the brain to achieve the desired

effect. The primary ingredients of most psychoactive drugs suppress

enzyme production, and the fluoride ion is also an enzyme inhibitor.

The one particular side effect common to almost all fluorinated drugs

which is mentioned in the Physician's Desk Reference is memory loss.

These drugs include Fenfluramine (a fluorinated weight loss drug),

fluorinated corticosteroids, and fluorinated psychoactive drugs.

Memory loss and learning disorders are associated with the

hippocampal area of the brain.

Central Nervous System Damage from Fluorides

Our 1995 paper in Neurotoxicology and Teratology was the first

laboratory study to demonstrate in vivo that central nervous system

(CNS) function was vulnerable to fluoride, that the effects on

behavior depended on the age at exposure and that fluoride

accumulated in brain tissues. The behavioral changes common to

weanling and adult exposures were different from those after prenatal

exposure. Whereas prenatal exposure dispersed many behaviors as seen

in drug-induced hyperactivity, weanling and adult exposures led to

behavior- specific changes more related to cognitive deficits. Brain

histology was not examined in this study, but we suggested that the

effects on behavior were consistent with interrupted hippocampal

development (a brain region generally linked with memory).

Establishing a threshold dose for effects on the CNS, in rats or

humans, was not the intent of this initial investigation. Yet, one

fact relevant to human exposure emerged quite clear. When rats

consumed 75-125 ppm and humans 5-10 ppm fluoride in their respective

drinking waters, the result was equivalent ranges of plasma fluoride

levels. This range is observed with some treatments for osteoporosis,

and it is exceeded ten times over, one hour after children receive

topical applications of some dental fluoride gels. Thus, humans are

being exposed to levels of fluoride we know alters behavior in rats.

discloses that concentrations of fluorides from fluoridated

toothpastes and mouthwashes activate G proteins in the oral cavity,

thereby promoting gingivitis and periodontitis, as well as oral

cancer. Incomprehensibly, this vital information is being withheld

from the public by all parties involved, including the company, at

least two well-known Universities, and numerous oral disease experts.

setting the CDC recommendations for fluoride intake in children,

served as head of a Food and Drug Administration subcommittee that

decides which dental products to make available to the public, and

who chaired the panel on safe use of fluoride for the Centers for

Disease Control (CDC, 2001).

I, Dr. A. K. Susheela, have spent more than 20 years doing scientific

research in the field of Fluoride Toxicity and Fluorosis.

Thesis No. 5 (Ph.D): " Effects of excess fluoride ingestion on

calcification of bone with reference to Glucocorticoids " . Submitted

to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and

conferred the degree of Ph.D to MR. TAPOSH K. DAS during 1991. The

above treatise has contributed significant, novel information in the

understanding of the pathogenesis of skeletal abnormalities occurring

in chronic fluoride toxicity and fluorosis. Reduced plasma cortisol

levels in patients afflicted with fluorosis is reported for the first

time. Fluoride treated animals also produced less cortisol and

revealed adrenocortical hypofunction. The study also revealed for the

first time, pituitary gland hypofunction which is possibly the reason

for adrenal insufficiency in the production of steroid hormone.

Fluoride toxicity was shown to impair cortisol production, thereby

altering the bone matrix constitution both organic and inorganic,

leading to defective and abnormal mineralization process
