Something is still leaking, it still hurts, and we really don't know much more today than we did last week.Back

to town today for a more invasive and extensive tap of the

accumulated fluid in my gut. In addition to pulling a nice sample for

testing, they also drained a liter of fluid from the right side of my

belly. The ultrasound indicated that several liters have accumulated on

the left side, but that can't be drained without potentially lacerating

my spleen. So, although some of the pressure was relieved, I'm still

pretty miserable without constant pain treatment.Meanwhile, the

liver function tests are great. There is no sign of infection. The

anti-rejection drugs are dosed perfectly. Kidney function is great. The

ultrasound of the liver was normal with no obvious signs of leakage.I'm an interesting patient once again. I want to be boring.Tom
