I just had to chime in also about starting a new career. I went back to school at age 45 and trained to become a Graphic Artist, after having a career for many years, as a photocopier technician with Xerox and then Konika......then alas our old friend the Wolf started to raise his ugly head.....and I had to quit working and apply for SSD.

Your Husband may find what he has been looking for all his life,as a career......if he takes an apptitude test, and thinks about what he has always dreamed of doing .....

Cheryl, My best friend went back to school at 55 and is now teaching high school. Anyone can do itat any time, honey. Another friend, another adoptive parent, is in her late 60's and has always wanted to go to law school. She starts this Fall.
