I don't personally have this issue, but another of our post transplant patients, with recurrent symptoms clearly has this issue. She does not know why, but she avoids tomatoes and all tomato based products at all cost.

Good luck in getting to the bottom of it.

Oddly enough I can eat tomatoes, I love them. Its just the concentrated

form I can't touch.

Thanks!

I hate to say this, but that is even stranger than her issue. I love tomatoes, and anything containing tomatoes, that I pray I never have such a reaction. When I was on TPN back in '97 (not allowed to eat anything), I would get up in the middle of the night, chew tomatoes and spit them out. I had to at least enjoy the flavor!

I love pizza and anything closely related too it. Since I have found

out I can't eat the good pizza(you know the ones loaded with all the

meats and fat YUMMY) I have have started making my own. I use pesto

instead of pizza sauce and lots of veggies instead of meat. It taste

pretty good, but I still crave a good Pizza Inn pizza!

Mmmm, Pizza Inn Pizza! When I lived in central Missouri, I would hit up Pizza Inn at least once a week and make myself very happy. That was before the PSC took a turn for the worse. Now, that I'm post transplant there's not a Pizza Inn to be found. Ugh!
