Guest guest
Hi Folks: I wonder if any of you have ever had an experience like this: I almost died in my sleep last night. I am sure of it. It wasn't a dream..I was semi-conscious. I was aware of what was going on. I could see my body in the bed and my room. My whole body was paralysed and the only part that was working were my eye-lids. I was breathing but it was very shallow and slow. I could feel myself sinking...my mind was very alert and so I was forcing myself to LIVE..I just wouldn't give up. This battle went on for quite a while and then finally I snapped out of it. It was so scary that I sat on the edge of my bed for a long time..too frightened to go back to sleep. I was wishing that I had someone I could have talked to then. I do have this fear that I will die in my sleep. My grandmother did. I wonder if it is the fatigue? Perhaps if fatigue got so bad, could it slow one's breathing down to a complete stop? Especially when a person is unconscious in sleep? I am so frightened. I am afraid to go to sleep now. I don't know what to do!!! Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you. Hugs, Lynne __________________________________________________
