Guest guest
-Yes I do have pain free times, in fact most of the time I am fairly pain free. I cant imagine having bad pain most of the time. I had one bad flare. I woke up in Nov. and could not lift up out of bed. The pain was in my shoulder blade. It lasted for 2 months. My husband knew where to massage due to the knots in my muscles. The doc gave me flexeril for flares but they do not help. I generally always have mild neck pain sometimes bad neck pain. I also had the very sore stiff feeling middle finger for a few months. Generally my major symptom is fatigue and not sleeping well. -- In @y..., suzimcmullen@c... wrote: > I am curious about the issues of flares. I can imagine that a flare is when things are hurting really bad, but I wonder.. do any of you ever have pain free days? I haven't had a pain free day in too many years to count. It's always something. My feet have been in constant and horrible pain ranging on the pain scale from 0-10 every day since 1998. The only time I don't feel pain in my feet is the few hours at the beginning of the day after I have been up awhile and before I have been on my feet for a few hours. I can't stop walking or stand in one spot without them hurting bad and if I sit down or lie down ever I get shooting pains and cramps in my feet. On top of the feet I have had a constant neck and shoulder thing going on and it pretty much just jumps between the 2 sides. > > Most of what I feel has been happening for so long I just ignore it. What has drove me to start investigating all of this is that I guess I am in what you all are calling a flare. The pain is getting worse and everything I deal with is piling on all at once instead of just having 1 or 2 places hurting at one time. > > So have any of you ever went through a remission period where you felt human? > > ttyl > Suzi
