Amy, I used to be very active, we used to go hiking for 2 weeks in northern

MI every spring...from dawn to dusk. I have made plans to go up north

hiking for JUST this weekend (sat-sun). I have been hiking for an hour or

two every day for the past 2 weeks getting ready to go. Last Feb I could

not get out of bed, I have had FMS all of my adult life, and I try to live

my life between flares, sometimes the flares seem to go on forever... i'm

almost afraid to do anything anymore, i'm so excited to be able to do

something and at the same time i'm scared to death that i'll come home and

be down in bed for months because of it!

I am 36, once in a while I have night sweats--usually all night; the doctor

says i'm too young to be menopausal....but, I don't know what else could

cause these night sweats --it has come and gone for the past 9 months or so.

Hi ,

I, too, had night sweats in my late thirties and through the

forties. I just turned fifty and now I really am in menopause. I was

tested way back and was not in menopause just a few years ago. At

least it is something that is showing up very low on the tests so

hormones might help my sleep which always helps the fibro.

I really miss my active life. I hope to take sailing lessons in a

few weeks but really should not make the one day attempt.

Amy
