Guest guest
I'd be more likely to suspect the Hep B shot. My wife had a similar reaction to her Hep B vaccination, along with significant joint pain. (I had no problems with it (I'm the one with PSC). He was perfectly fine until almost 9 last night. His fever went from 99.4 to 103 in about an hour and a half...

Guest guest
It may have been because he got them at the same time. Might have been a bit much for his immune system to get them both at the same time.
Guest guest
He said early today that his side has been hurting for about 3-4 days which makes me think possible bile duct infection again. Do you think the fever after the shots could be related? Just curious?
Guest guest
Hi! I had my flu shot a few days ago. I'm not sure if it's related, but a few hours after the flu shot, I had tremendous aching of my joints (more than usual) and started getting a headache that kept increasing into a full-blown migraine and hung in there despite my migraine medication. I ended up running a fever later that night which broke after some Tylenol. It took about two days and twenty straight hours of sleep before I started to feel better. I've had the flu shot in the past (pre PSC diagnosis) and never had a reaction, but I'm not sure if the reaction this time was coincidence, fluke or something else all together. Guest guest
I'm having my flu shot on Tuesday and planned on having my daughter get hers then as well. We both have asthma so we are encouraged to get them every year. Man, I sure hope neither of us have a reaction. I don't have time to not feel well. I've gotta take care of every body else! Guest guest
I get my flu shot every year and have never had a problem with it. I have had the Hep B series twice and although I did not build antibodies like I was supposed, I only experienced a reaction once out of the six injections and I believe that reaction, which was a seriously painful bruise was because I tensed up for the shot. Some people due develop mild flu like symptoms from getting the shot, my daughter does. Each year she spend a day or two after the shot feeling run down, I think that's why she refuses to get the shot now that she is old enough to make that call for herself. > > My husband had his flu shot as well as the first round of his Hep B shot yesterday as was > recommended by the dr we saw at IU.
