Guest guest
I was prescribed 120 mg of armour about 9- 10 weeks ago). I increased my own dose to 165(approx) mg over a few week period. Two days before this test, I reduced back to 120 just for the test results.... and here's what I got... along with the doc requesting that I go down to 135 mg armour and retest in 1 month.... TSH 0.030L (0.350-5.500) Thyroxine T4 6.0ug/dl (4.5 - 12.0) T3 Uptake 30 (24-39) Free thyroxine index 1.8 (1.2 - 4.9) Triiodothyronine (T3) 146 ng/dl (85 - 205) The TSH is the only one that screwed me up. What argument should I give him to convince him that TSH isnt a good measure once your on meds anyway? (And its only barely out of range isnt it?) I forget most details and need some help on this one. Again. (BTW, I am having HYPO symtoms still. Fatigue, constant weight gain, brain fog like crasy, lack of gumption overall... NO HYPER symtoms, except I've been a little testy a few times at my family.) RAI about 20 years ago... theres no way Im getting enough meds here!
