Guest guest
Forgive me if this is a repeat, but I think the last reply disappeared. I had an MRCP last Friday (the 4th or 5th) and they've done IV contrast all of the times. It took 4 sticks to do the IV this time. Bah. I thought IV contrast was the norm. Maybe not. Guest guest
Hi ; I think that MRCP's can be done either with or without contrast. But with a contrast agent, this can often lead to better image quality and reveals finer details of the biliary tree. This time though they injected me with a dye, is there any reason why it was done this time and not the last when i was first diagnosed? Any insight is appreciated.
