Yes, when I was on crutches I had my foot in A cast for about 6 weeks after surgery. A couple of months later I had surgery on the Other foot and was on crutches for another 6 weeks. I fell a lot. That was a long time ago before I knew I had Lupus and I had a very physical full time job. That was back in 1979. Gads, I’m old! LOL Isn’t there a way for The world is round and the place you to get a helper at home for at least some of the days? Love, your Lupie friend, Cheryl in CA which may seem like the end may also be the beginning. Ivy Baker Priest Cheryl, I can't do them when my legs are out of order. Occassionally it's so bad, i almost sleep with the crutches in bed. LOL. and the phone near my bed, in case i awake not only temporary paralized, but for days. The mobile scooter isn't approved yet and the person still is on vacation. Even then, i will need the crutches when i step out of the mobile scooter. Last year i got these crutches permanently, short for my birthday. As i didn't celibrate my birthday last year, because i felt so depressed, they were my only bithday " present " . Sorry, for rambling on like this. Last monday, someone i thought off, was my best friend, let me know by email, she can't handle my " handicaps " her words, and therefor she decided we are no friends any longer. I feel like a thrown away carbage bag, a thing that's out of order. micha. size=2 width="100%" align=center> Express yourself with over 8,000 FREE Email Smileys - click here!
