Feb 17th nearly 7 monthsHi everyone,well who would believe the weather we have been having!! If prayers count for anything, it has been fabulous. Last Thursday I made my tennis comeback with a game-fit clinic. When the coach rang I immediately said yes.....then afterwards thought what an idiot I was. I prayed for a cool change, and the Good Lord came through, cloudy, cool breeze and I survived. Today I played my first fixtures of tennis, 3 sets of doubles, and once again the clouds came over and it was lovely. Steamy, but no direct sun. It was so exciting, and great to be back. I honestly never thought I'd play again, let alone to the standard I expect of myself.

last Friday I had to do blood tests, and had no phone call, so obviously I didn't kill myself at the tennis the day before. Things are looking great at the minute, long may it last.I have been in contact with the Australian Team Manager for the World Transplant Games, to be held in August. She is after me to order my uniform to compete for Australia in the tennis. This is a mighty step, but a dream that may actually come true. It is on the Gold coast so couldn't be easier to get to, or have the family attend. I just have to be brave, commit myself and have faith that the body and liver will hold up for another 6 months.
