Guest guest
Yes I agree, and on the other hand some natural therapies do help if you get the right one for the right condition. So in order to SAVE people money, time and hope trying, buying and going to therapies that turn out to be complete frauds. And to SAVE the suffering of patients when there are therapies that can absolutely help. Lets contribute to the common database for natural therapies because as we all know, doctors don't suggest them, and don't prescribe them because it's not their speciality. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group//surveys?id=2781193 > > > > I wanted to suggest, that after we get enough votes in the last poll > > for " What sort of natural therapies " relieves symptoms the best. > > We should make a more detailed poll for treatment that got the most > > votes. Guest guest
-----Original Message----- as we all know, doctors don't suggest them, and don't prescribe them because it's not their speciality. I can only speak for my son’s doctors (he has a bunch of them), they won’t/don’t/didn’t prescribe “natural therapies” not because it’s not their specialty, but because they believe they don’t work. There are several things that do seem to help, Fish Oil, milk thistle, SAMe and Probiotics are four and they have been widely studied with success. Guest guest
Well that is so, Doctors don't believe in Homeopathy for example, because chemically speaking, the remedies are so diluted that they are like placebo, but I do know that homeopathy helped me a lot. For example there's a product called : " Oscillococcinum " it's a homeopathy product sold without prescription that prevents and helps in case of a virus/flu, and it did work a hundred times for me and my family members. So doctors are not always right in their disbelief. But the thing is homeopathy doesn't work for eveyone, that's also a fact. By the way, What is SAMe??? Thanks > > -----Original Message----- > as we all know, doctors don't suggest them, and don't prescribe them > because it's not their speciality. > > I can only speak for my son's doctors (he has a bunch of them), they > won't/don't/didn't prescribe " natural therapies " not because it's not > their specialty, but because they believe they don't work.
