Guest guest
Great news....your prayers worked! Chris's liver numbers were back down today so NO ERCP! And even better, his blood sugar has been so good he's completely off of insulin and NO more blood sugar checks!!!!! He's had quite the appetite too. I feel like I spend most of my time running to the kitchen to get him something to eat. That's ok though-he's lost about 15 lbs or so and we need to get some meat on his bones. We appreciate everyone who continues to keep us in your prayers. The next 'hurdle' I guess you could call it, is excess abdominal fluid. He had quit a bit of fluid before the transplant and now it's seeping out of his incision. The nurses and doctors have all said that it's completely normal and that his incision looks really good. He just says it's kind of a weird feeling to have stuff leaking out of your body! And it's kind of a pain to keep changing his dressing every few minutes. It's not a bad if he's sitting still but when he gets up and moves around it pours. He's doing extremely well and we both appreciate everyone's love and support so much!To send a message to Bobbi and family goto; http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/chriscantrell password: christopher
