Guest guest
Kris, and any body who can answer,I sure hope that somebody can tell me what to do, as I have been messing with the cortisone a little bit. IF one can NOT rely on adrenal tests to be acurate due to mercury toxicity, (as per Cutler, PhD) HOW DOES ONE KNOW IF THEY REALLY NEED IT BASED ON SYMPTOMS. I think I REALLY, REALLY need it, but I am scared of it, and it does affect me. My guess is that my adrenals are severely stressed. One of the reasons I say this, is how easy it is to get my heart to pound: phone rings...bidding on eBay....exerting myself even a pinch. However, I am not sure, but it SEEMS to me that my body wants to get dependant on the stuff almost immediatley. So does that mean I should stay away from it, or does it mean that I really, really need it? It DOES finally bring my temps up to 98.6 quite frequently....and those memorey lapses in the middle of a sentence go away, and the feelings of wanting to break down and cry. I'll be darned if I can get that pupil test to show anything to me. Maybe the flashlight just isnt bright enough. And when I stand after crouching or bending over...sometimes it can feel pretty awful. I sure hope somebody has a good suggestion for me. I am real scared of this cotisone, but something jsut has to give here. AAlso, I got a hold of a few Cytomel tablets - 25 mg. Why is it that I feel; NOTHING from taking 2-3 grains of thyroid between my cheek..nothing. But when I took about 7 mcg of the cytomel, for the first time I FELT something. The next day I took no Thyroid-S , but took 25 mcg of cytomel spread out pver a 24 hour period, and I almost felt like I had a life again! I felt a lot more like me, actually had some energy and a little drive! WHY would these small smount of cytomel actually do something for me that I could feel, when 27 mcg of T3 taken as Thyroid-S has seemingly no effect on me at all. Can anybody here explain this to me? Is it that I am creating so much reverse T3 becasue of the mercury or something, that only the straiht T3 makes me feel something?
