Here I was calling you wiN when it should be wiM.....Sorry I'm just not all here some days!....

Here's the latest ...they basically said...." Don ...we don't know what to do with you! " Two Doc's say no cancer....one can't rule it out just yet because he said..."You have a High CA19-9 score...we found no tumor cells in your ascites fluids, but your CT scan shows an enlarged lymph nodes right behind my bile duct"....So they are going to do another ERCP with a ultra sound....take out my stint and biopsy the enlarged lymph nodes... after that they'll see about figuring out where I'll be with regards to my MELD score and a Tx.....They think my meld score will come in low...

I'm so tired of this!

Well....after a long 30 days (and being told I might have cholangiocarcinoma aka "cc" cancer in my bile duct) along with my PSC.... Dr P. told me today......"I don't HAVE CANCER there", yes there is still chance and they are looking into the possibility of HCC (Hepatic Cellular Carcinoma) in the liver?...but heck i'm going to lose the liver anyway, right.

They haven't done a PET scan because my insurance said they "have to find prof first there is cancer some where...kinda of a chicken an the egg thing if you ask me...!

But still, no CC in the bile duct and to me... this IS good news!

Yes...I may be closer to a transplant, (back to see the liver surgeons Friday) but from my ascites fluid analysis he said No CC! They took three liters of fluid from me (It reminded me of the pregnant women you hear about, that didn't know she was with child!) soooo... obviously my liver is cirrhosising.

As you said Win ..."man Don when you get something you go full on"! or something like that?

Soooo..That my latest news from Scripps Hospital and Dr. P!
