Guest guest
Dear Helen, I have had to go before the judge to get my disability after being turned down twice also. I did go ahead and get an attorney, and he gave me a lot of advice on how to come across to the judge, what to wear , my demeaner, and such. However I got my disability on Major Depression before I was ever diagnosed with Lupus. Hope this helps, I know how you don't want to give any one part of your money, but in my case I was glad to share if he could help me get my benefits, and I would not be able to survive and stay as independant as long as I have without my SSD.. ssn disability and hearing Hi, everyone and welcome to all the newbies. I have a question. I've applied for my disability and I've been turned down twice, now I'm going to have my case heard by a judge. They said that I didn't have to go, but should I? I never know how I'm going to feel from day to day and I hate to say that I'm going to be there and then be sick and have to go anyway. Or, would that be a good thing? Has anyone been in front of one of theses judges before? Help, what should I do. By the way I haven't gotten a laywer yet. I didn't want to have to share my money with anyone else if I could do it on my own. I hope everyone has a pain-free day!! It's raining here, ugh..stiff bones!!!!!!!!!
