At the risk of being a dumb-dumb, I still don't get this.

So why take cortisone at all to " give your adrenals a rest " when you end up

with half or less of your own adrenal than you started with. By my

understanding it seems this " rest " does not really help the adrenal, rather

hinder it.

I know...that is not suppsoed to be the case, but I jsut don't get it.
