Guest guest
I had this. I had a tumor on my parathyroid gland. My blood calcium level was high and I had pains that felt like heartburn. The parathyroid gland was removed and the tumor was benign. The problem was that it leaches calcium from your bones/teeth etc. and you can get osteoporosis. Some ot the bone mass returns after the parathyroid gland is removed. lestatl382 LestatL382@...> wrote: My sister had a whole bunch of blood tests done and the numbers for her parathyroid are off and they are sending her to an endo. I know she has to do a 24 hr urine test so I'm thinking maybe hyperparathyroid. They also told her she is in the beginning stages of osteoperosis. Any thoughts? Louise PS I don't know what her blood test results are. She just forwarded me the message her Drs office left her.
