Guest guest
Libertarian theory lauds the mutual gains from trade generated by voluntary exchanges between persons of ordinary competence. This one good idea can be applied countless times, with the happy side effect of creating more opportunities for everyone else. Everyone benefits from strong contract law that facilitates the exchange goods and services over time. Unfortunately, this rosy account of trade has its dark side. While many economists praise trade, too many bioethicists warn us of the risks of " trafficking " in organs, and its evil twin " commercialism. " So the stage is set for two related questions: How do we tell the difference between trafficking and trade? And what does it have to do with organ transplantation? http://www.forbes.com/2008/12/15/oirgan-donation-kidney-oped-cx_rae_1215epstein.html Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight - Whatever it Takes!
