Alison,

Hi! Welcome to the group. I'm sorry you have to be here, but glad you found

us! I know you've already gotten some replies to your post and I hope you're

feeling more confident and a little less confused and scared. Please know that

you can ask us anything at any time and chances are somebody in this fabulous

group of people will have an answer or at least be able to commiserate! You had

asked if you have to worry about your husband dying from this disease. I'd love

to tell you that's not a possibility, but I can't. What I can tell you is that

more and more experts are saying that you are more likely to die with PSC than

from it. That's an amazingly powerful statement if you think about it and it

brings a lot of hope!

You asked about certain threads to read and things to know as a new member into

the PSC club. I'm not sure exactly what to tell you on that front. I guess I'd

encourage you to ask questions as they come up and never be afraid that what you

want to know is too obvious or silly or simple to ask. As my third grade

teacher always told us, if you have a question about something, chances are

someone else does too and is just too afraid to ask it!

Welcome to the group! Let us know if, when and how we can help! :)
